Antarctica

This adventure offers six days of exploration on the beautiful Antarctic Peninsula and the surrounding islands and waterways. There are enormous tabular icebergs, hillsides covered with thousands of penguins, and the excitement on deck as someone shouts, "Whales!"

We also explore the vibrant capital city of Santiago, Chile; round Cape Horn, the southernmost tip of South America; and sail past the islands of Tierra del Fuego.

You travel with International Expeditions' experienced staff, which includes an Undersea Specialist.  Zodiacs and kayaks further your ability to examine this remote wilderness.

Antarctica, South Georgia & the Falklands

In addition to our four days exploring Antarctica, we spend one day in the South Orkneys; two days in the wildlife-rich Falklands, four days on South Georgia, an island abundant in wildlife, scenic beauty and history. Here we view spectacular scenery and the sight of macaroni penguins and thousands of stately king penguins. From our charter flight on LAN Chile we have some rare views of Patagonia before landing in Ushuaia, Argentina. the southernmost city in the world.
