Tamarindo Beach Adventure

The Arenal Volcano National Park encompasses thousands of acres of pristine rainforest and teems with tropical birds and wildlife. The Observatory is the only lodge situated within the park. Arenal volcano, active since 1968, rumbles and erupts with spectacular displays of vapor and lava. While in the area enjoy a dip in the thermal pools at the Tabacón Hot Springs.

The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is one of the richest and most diverse tropical cloud forests in the New World. It is best known as home to the Resplendent Quetzal but also protects hundreds of other birds, mammals, and plant species. Enjoy a visit to the Butterfly Garden and Ecological Farm.

You reach the beautiful northern Pacific beach of Tamarindo by driving through the distinctive dry savanna of Guanacaste Province. In addition to relaxing on the beach optional activities are available at extra cost, including a night turtle nesting tour during the nesting season or an estuary boat tour.
