Dr. Noble Proctor has led dozens of natural history and ecology expeditions to Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. A professor at Southern Connecticut State University, Noble is Connecticut's premier field naturalist. He has written several books including, A Manual of Ornithology, published by Yale University Press. The late Roger Tory Peterson called it "a gold mine of facts...Every library and biology department, as well as every birder, should have a copy close at hand." Noble's in-depth knowledge of Costa Rica's bird life and his unflagging enthusiasm promise to make each trip he leads a memorable experience for birders and natural history buffs. |
