Carlos Gómez

Carlos Gómez is one of Costa Rica's most knowledgeable and sought-after naturalist guides. Charlie is an excellent naturalist and premier birder with a BA in biology from the University of Costa Rica. He has personally seen over 720 of the country's birds and has recorded as many as 225 on a single day! His tireless enthusiasm on the job makes traveling with Charlie not only a very rewarding learning experience, but a great adventure as well. When he is not birding, Charlie works in his garden, making it a haven for birds.
